Capacity 12,000 folders per hour The Herzog + Heymann SmartPACK 100 automated folder packaging system is a revolutionary technology for increasing the production capabilities of systems for inserting, outsourcing, PI, and miniature book production. The SmartPACK 100 system is designed for use with all Herzog + Heymann systems and also allows interconnection of systems from other manufacturers. The SmartPACK 100 is easy to set up and operate - you simply place pre-formed and empty folders on the rear conveyor and receive full trays at the front. One operator has enough time both to unload the bins and to operate and set up the entire folding system, or perhaps more of these folding systems! For integration into the production loop in line automation, the SmartPACK 100 has an integrated quality system with a jogger module and a three-dimensional camera layout to ensure that the products are properly closed and have the correct dimensions. Only 100% of the right products can pass. Occasional non-compliant folders will be sent through the closing gate, but the machine is still running. Because the system is modular and mobile, other improvements are possible, such as automatic labeling of the output bin.
