FOLIANT Mercury 400 SF is a compact industrial laminator, designed for reliable lamination of higher-cost digital sheets up to a format of 38 x 70 cm (even the largest outputs of the Xerox iGen4 printing machine). The laminating equipment is complemented by a Heidelberg suction loader and an integrated laminated sheet separator. Customers have a full range of options at their disposal - eg module for double-sided lamination, module with embossed roller, pallet unloader, etc. The used pneumatic roller pressure technology, format and performance makes the FOLIANT Mercury 400 SF laminating machine for all types of digital printing and for offset printing of this format at all costs. The maximum speed of the machine is 20 m / min., Which represents an output of up to 2400 B3 sheets per hour (unprinted paper 200 g / m2). The FOLIANT Mercury 400 SF laminator is equipped as standard with an upper loader made of a stack of paper, with Heidelberg suction loading head and automatic overlap system. The entire loading system is driven by an Omron servomotor and controlled by a central PLC. The Becker vacuum pump is used to aerate the sheets and at the same time as a vacuum source for suckers. The sheet overlaps are electronically controlled and can be adjusted by the operator while the machine is running via the touch screen. The accuracy of the overlaps is +/- 2 mm (at constant speed). The loader is equipped with a movable electronically controlled table with fast feed and its capacity is up to 54 cm of paper.
