Schmedt PräziCase Pro

PräziCase Pro is a semi-automatic machine for the production of book covers for piece and series production. Without setting the format, costs from 1 to 500 pieces and more are economically processed. Based on the control technology used in this machine, the format of the manufactured book covers becomes secondary. All dimensions are determined by sensors and set automatically. The machine achieves a clock output of 4-5 book covers per minute, depending on whether the corners are to be trimmed in the machine (machine with optional corner trimmer) or the covers are already delivered with the corners trimmed. The machine is operated by only one person, who applies the glue to the cover (on a separate glue application machine) and lays the bookbinding board. The actual production of book covers with trimming the corners, bending all four sides and then pressing the entire surface is performed fully automatically. The corners are cleanly bent. At the same time, after bending the long edges, the corner folds are folded using two folding fingers. Manual pressure, which is quite common in other systems, is eliminated.
