The PräForm is designed primarily for use with the PräLeg hanging machine and handles individual books in the range as well as series in the industrial area. The PräForm type 21 is equipped with 520 x 400 mm light alloy press plates and heated firing bars. Rounded firing bars are installed from the factory. These are especially suitable for laminated and laminated papers, but also for bookbinding materials such as fabric. The pressure of the firing bars in the groove is adjustable independently of the set pressing pressure, and can thus be adapted to the selected bookbinding material and the desired depth of the groove. The temperature of the firing bars is regulated by a thermostat and is set according to the properties of the glue, the bookbinding material and also according to the working speed. The machine is equipped with a timer on which the required pressing time can be set. After this time, the press opens automatically and the book can be removed. This allows the duty cycle to be adapted very precisely to the suspension speed. The PräForm is therefore already open if you want to insert another book. This speeds up the workflow. The pressure of the press plates can be set in two stages. In this way, even delicate products can be processed at 50% pressure. Technical changes reserved
