PräLomo is a pneumatic machine for rounding book blocks in a wide range of formats. It rounds book blocks in piece production (with ever-changing block thickness) as well as in series production. The device consists of a basic frame with a height-adjustable table and a movable rounding plate, which rounds the book block. The rounding plate is heated. The temperature can be set continuously on the controller. In this way, the glued bond is heated during rounding. This makes the book block much rounder and more evenly rounded. The table top can be adjusted in height to accommodate different block thicknesses. The locking lever on the left of the machine frame allows the block thickness to be adjusted.
