The printed material is processed in two stations, where the appropriate number of sheets is taken from the high-capacity position by means of a vacuum feeding system by means of belts, which can be interspersed with an envelope from the auxiliary position. The DSF-2000 accepts electronically sorted outputs from any digital printer and feeds them at up to 120 sheets / min to one of the Duplo booklet makers. The DSF-2000 is compatible with the DBM-120 Basic Booklet Maker, but also with the DBM-500 Professional Booklet Maker. DSF 2000 is also used as one of the components of the DUETTO system, where the connection of the DSF 2000 to the 5000 system allows to process both products from digital printing and from conventional offset printing. The DSF-2000 can be programmed by the number of pages in each set, or by reading the end-of-set mark. The number of sheets can also be determined using a bar code to ensure complete correctness of the final product even with complete variability of processed sets. The submitted sheets are accumulated in a booklet maker, where they are then stapled, folded and front-cut into the final V1 booklet. The feeding system is not only fully controlled by the sheet computer, bar code or optical number plate (OMR) but also subsequently checked by sensors checking the uncollected paper, double removal or empty position of the tray. Ease of use, ease of format adjustment allows trouble-free deployment even for lower costs or reprints. Sewing parameters, the folding or trimming position is simply changed on the control panel to an accuracy of 0.1 mm as required.
